BATHING

Kopp

From the single hectare with which Ewald Kopp began in 1996, the winery has grown to 32 hectares of carefully selected vineyards in the best locations of the Ortenau region. At just 22 years old, Johannes Kopp took over the winery.

Our world is defined by the extraordinary diversity of soils—weathered red sandstone, Rotliegend, loess, and clay soils, Upper Carboniferous strata, and the particularly silica-rich rock of the Red Porphyry—all concentrated within a very small area. These varied soil types play a decisive role in shaping the character of our wines.
